Earn rewards every few days by delegating your tez.
If you don’t have any Tezos or Bitcoin, get some Bitcoin from a fiat-to-crypto exchange.
If you are baking less than $500 you might not be concerned with getting a hardware wallet. If you are planning on baking more than $500, please see the section at the bottom of this page first before proceeding with the steps for delegating.
Steps for delegating your tez
- Download the Galleon wallet.
- Setup your wallet as a Keystore (no hardware wallet) or a Ledger wallet.
- Copy your receiving address and get some tez (XTZ) from a Bitcoin-to-crypto exchange.

Delegate your Tezos
Copy and paste the following address for the delegate field:
tz1NEKxGEHsFufk87CVZcrqWu8o22qh46GK6
Enter your wallet password and click the blue “Change Delegate” button to execute the delegation.
For security, use a hardware wallet: Ledger Nano S
If you are investing more than $500 I highly recommended getting a hardware wallet, specifically a Ledger Nano S. There is a newer Ledger Nano X which has Bluetooth which supports using it with your smartphone but because it relies on a battery it is not optimal for long term holding. The Ledger Nano X also does not support baking at the moment in case you wanted to bake yourself.
